Finding a Niche / Ranking for Low Competition Keywords

Forget Ahrefs or SEMrush. Enter Rank IQ. This is my no.1 tool for finding low competition keywords in pretty much ANY niche. You also get a content optimiser baked in to see how well your content is set up to rank.

But the big feature for me is being able to select from a list of hand-picked keywords that are easy to rank for!

Get Rank IQ for just $49 and find all the keywords you need!

I also love NicheFinder for finding and researching your next niche! You can select from dozens of different niches and see traffic estimates for all the websites and who has managed to get into Mediavine and Raptive!

Acquiring and Selling Websites

If you fancy yourself as an investor, reckon it’s time to sell your niche site or you’re in the market for one, then look no further than the top-notch crew at Empire Flippers. As mentioned above, it’s where I sold mine for multiple 6 figures in 2021!

Or if you’re just curious what your site / online business might be worth right now ($$$), it’s worth checking out their free valuation tool. It could be worth more than you think! ๐Ÿ˜‰

A smooth, seamless, professional process for buyers and sellers alike.

Content Development

I’ve used WriterAccess to source many of my writers, and I’ve spent a lot of money with them. The team are responsive, they have some solid writers and a writer for every budget. If you join, tell Lindsey I said hi!

Of course, I now make use of AI – not exclusively – but I love Byword AI most of all as it lets you generate articles using a title and multiple subheadings.

You can let them suggest them for you and / or add your own! Of course, you’ll need to edit the output before publishing, but this is my favourite tool for AI content, and I’ve used a few!

Top AI content writer recommendation: Koala Writer run frequent deals – check out their Black Friday Deals in particular. In November 2023 they are running 45% off their plans!

The Affiliate Lab by Matt Diggity This is the premier affiliate marketing course teaching you how to build, grow, monetize and even sell a content or affiliate site from scratch.

This is my no.1 recommendation and Matt is a legend in the SEO world. And for good reason to be fair.

If you use my link, you can save $200 off the cost of the course! It is updated regularly so you’ll always be up to speed. You can also read my detailed Affiliate Lab review.

UPDATE: You can avail of the the Affiliate Lab Black Friday Sale and get $500 off from November 24-27!

Email Marketing

ConvertKit is my go-to for building an email list, growing my subscriber count and sending newsletters. It’s free to get started (no credit card required), a breeze to get set up and very intuitive and user-friendly.

It’s very popular with niche site builders and creators in general. Their customer support is super-fast and helpful too.

You can get a free trial and then opt for one of their premium plans, or stay on the free plan until you have too many subscribers! (Nice problem to have!).

Keyword Research

When you’re taking on the business-critical task of keyword research, you want to make it as easy and efficient as possible. Keyword Chef is my top recommendation for exploring and identifying the top keywords and topics for your niche.

The tool gives you the option to enter a “seed keyword” to kick-start your research (and you can start for free!). You can search using questions or do a wildcard search, or choose from multiple other options.

The Chef will then give you a list of keywords you can rank for! Be sure to use your credits wisely – look up the help documentation or ask a question in the Facebook group!

WPX Hosting is my go-to for website hosting. First of all, it’s one of the fastest hosts you’ll find. WPX didn’t want to outsource their servers to anyone else, so they decided to build and own their own servers!

Their customer support is also top-notch. Unlike other providers, you’ll get a response from their Live Chat at the bottom right of their webpages within 30 seconds. But really, anytime I click to chat, someone is right there, instantly!

WPX is not cheap though for newbies. If you are just starting out or don’t need as much bandwidth, then I also highly recommend my other host – Siteground.

I have used them for many years. They are great for starting out and are also popular among niche site publishers.

And that’s it for now! I’ll continue to add to this list and if you have any questions, just send me a tweet.
